"GAMESLAND CONSIGNMENT"
Terms & Conditions
At GamesLand Canada, you can consign your trading cards, sports cards, and sealed products with confidence. Before bringing in your items, please review our terms below.
Note: All consignments require a signed Consignment Agreement to formalize the terms.
Eligible Items

Individual Cards: Must have a minimum value of $20 and be in protective sleeves.

Sealed Products: Must have a minimum value of $100. We do not accept sealed products currently in stock at GamesLand Canada.
Ownership & Sale

Items remain the property of the consignor until sold.

Items must be available for a minimum of 180 days before they can be withdrawn.

GamesLand Canada will make every effort to display, promote, and sell your items, but sales are not guaranteed.

We reserve the right to refuse, return, or remove any item at our discretion.
Pricing
-
Sale prices are determined together with the consignor.

Market benchmarks such as PriceCharting, TCGSync/TCGplayer, and eBay sold listings may be used for guidance.

GamesLand Canada may recommend price adjustments to reflect current market trends.
Commission & Payment
For items with a sold price over $101:

Cash Payout: 75% of the sale price goes to the consignor (25% retained by GamesLand Canada).

Store Credit Payout: 85% of the sale price goes to the consignor as store credit (15% retained by GamesLand Canada).
For items with a sold price under $100:

Cash Payout: 70% of the sale price goes to the consignor (30% retained by GamesLand Canada).

Store Credit Payout: 80% of the sale price goes to the consignor as store credit (20% retained by GamesLand Canada).

Payments are made within 7 days of a completed sale.

Payouts under $25 may be held until the threshold is reached, unless requested otherwise.
Portal Access & Safe Handling

Online Portal: Track your consigned items, view sales, and monitor payouts anytime through our secure portal.

Safe Handling Guarantee: We take care to handle and store all items safely. Every consigned item is logged and tracked for your peace of mind.

Promotion Efforts: Your items are featured in-store, on our website, and through social media to help maximize exposure and potential sales.
Duration & Renewal

Initial consignment term: 180 days.

After 180 days, items automatically renew for another 180 days if not collected.

Prices may be adjusted during the renewal period.

Consignors may terminate after the initial term with 30 days’ written notice.

Unsold items must be collected within 30 days of termination, or they may remain for sale or be disposed of at our discretion.
Liability

GamesLand Canada takes reasonable care in handling and storing items, but is not liable for loss, theft, fire, damage, or deterioration.

All items are consigned as-is.

Consignors guarantee items are authentic and legally owned. Counterfeit or disputed items will be removed, and related costs may be charged back to the consignor.
